A Q&A session with the Rotary Drilling and Well Intervention Task Forces

Offshore Well Intervention Europe 2015 is being held in partnership with IWCF on April 15 - 16 at the Hilton Treetops, Aberdeen. The event is focused on maximising North Sea intervention efficiency. More than 300 industry leaders including oil and gas operators, regulators, vessel owners and other stakeholders are expected to attend the conference to tackle the priority knowledge and technology gaps associated with mature field well intervention.

David Price, CEO of IWCF said: “Whilst progress is being made in improving global well control competency following high profile blow out incidents, as an industry we still need to do more to tackle both the technical and human behaviour aspects associated with well control training. The workshop aims to bring together our members with the wider industry to debate and discuss progress and current challenges and hear how they can get more involved in our UK branch.”

IWCF is the independent, not-for-profit organisation, which sets international training standards for well control.

The workshop and networking reception runs from 4pm – 8pm at the Hilton Treetops and is free to all premium pass holders and IWCF members.
