The title transfers of exploration permit WA-359-P, which contains the giant Ironbark gas prospect offshore Western Australia, are to be transferred to new joint venture partners BP Developments Australia, Beach Energy and New Zealand Oil & Gas.
The company said the floating production system, located in the first producing field in the Norphlet area, will produce around 175 000 boe/d of oil and gas.
Calima will receive US$2.0 million on completion of the transaction.
The company presented examples of how operators have realised the commercial and schedule benefits of open subsea architecture.
