Equinor and its licence partners are aiming to increase the recovery factor from the North Sea Statfjord Øst field from 56% to 62%.

ADNOC has awarded the exploration rights for Abu Dhabi’s Offshore Block 3 to a consortium led by Eni Abu Dhabi B.V. and PTTEP MENA Ltd.

Perseverance #1 is targeting P50 prospective oil resources of 0.77 billion bbl, with an upside of 1.44 billion bbl.

Barra Energia is leaving the joint venture in which it had a 50% stake.

Preliminary estimates place the size of the discovery between 75 million and 200 million bbl of recoverable oil equivalent.
