Saipem and Petrobel have negotiated an offshore contract addendum worth more than US$1.2 billion for EPCI activities in relation to the ‘Ramp Up to Plateau’ phase of the Zohr Field Development Project.
The main objective of the well was to test the reservoir properties and hydrocarbon potential of the Jurassic and Permian formations in the frontier Froan Basin.
The company is progressing the redevelopment of the Balder and Ringhorne area, and a FEED contract for the Jotun FPSO life extension has now been signed.
The three-year contract, which comes with the option of a two-year extension, will include skip and ship and solids control to manage and process drill cuttings.
