Offshore Marine Contractors is celebrating a significant landmark with the completion of its 6000th marine operation.
Offshore Marine Contractors (OMC) was founded in 1985 to offer holistic rig moving, marine consultancy, brokerage, marine assurance and rental equipment services to the energy, renewables and civil/construction sectors. The company operates from Aberdeen and Great Yarmouth in the UK, and Steenwijk in The Netherlands.
Almost four decades on, OMC is now celebrating its milestone 6000th project completion and is also on track to deliver 4000 rig moves, with demand for jack-up and semi-submersible rig moves particularly high.
To mark the occasion, the company has just launched a brand-new website to showcase its track record in delivering project optimisation whilst protecting people and assets.
Commenting on the milestone, OMC joint founder Arnold Westveer said: “Throughout our long history, we have worked hard to become renowned for excellence in moving with confidence. This new website will be another important tool in showcasing not only our capabilities but also the wealth of expertise which exists within our team of master mariners, marine brokers and leading offshore marine specialists.”
