Petrobras begins sale process for offshore oilfields

Petrobras has started the process for the sale of its entire stake in the Atum, Curimã, Espada and Xaréu oilfields, located in shallow waters in the Mundaú sub-basin.
Operating since the 1980s, the cluster is located at a distance of 30 km from the coast of the ctate of Ceará, in water depths between 30 – 50 m. The average production in 2019 was 4200 bpd of oil and 76 900 m3/d of gas, through nine fixed platforms.
