Oilfield Technology,
EM&I have announced that following a tender process, EM&I Australia have received formal notification of a contract award from BW Offshore, for a Frame Agreement to supply conventional and specialised NDT services on the Umuroa FPSO.
EM&I has developed relationships with the Umuroa team, located in New Plymouth on the west coast of New Zealand's North Island.
Stephen Blair, EM&I General Manager Asia Pacific, remarked: "This contract award follows significant negotiations with both BW Offshore, and our proposed technicians, in order to agree competitive labour rates while maintaining an acceptable level of margin. It demonstrates that we remain focussed in competing hard to secure long term Frame Agreements, despite the challenging market conditions. Thanks must go to the wider EM&I network, who contributed to and supported our bid".
