Oilfield Technology,
Delmar has responded to the call for better risk assessment software in Australia with the launch of ConStatAU™. This new technology allows operators to better understand and potentially avoid risks offshore.
The ConStat risk assessment software is an automated program that allows operators to survey up to 190 km from their location for any possible risk factors including pipelines, wells, surface facilities, and environmental sites.
Using historical storm data, it highlights possible drift directions and seasonal probabilities to produce a detailed potential risk profile. ConStat is the industry standard risk assessment program for all US drilling and is expanding world-wide, starting with Australia.
The new software meets government standards for risk assessment, a key consideration in the awarding of offshore contracts.
The introduction of ConStatAU represents a significant step forward for Delmar, which has a history of producing major innovations and technological advances in the offshore industry.
Headquartered in Broussard, LA, Delmar has provided mooring and subsea installation services for over 47 years to every oil and gas region around the globe, with offices strategically located to serve the offshore industry in the world’s most challenging offshore environments. Delmar continues to be the leader in offshore mooring and subsea activities.
