TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company (TGS) provides multi-client geoscience data to oil and gas companies worldwide. The company has recently announced a new multi-client 3D survey offshore Eastern Canada, in the Flemish Pass basin, which plans to acquire approximately 4300 km² of seismic data. This survey is to be conducted in partnership with PGS and with the support of industry funding.

This project will provide valuable data in this proven, oil-prone hydrocarbon basin enabling exploration companies to image structural and stratigraphic trends.

The Ramform Valiant, utilising PGS GeoStreamer® technology, will acquire data in Flemish Pass basin during the summer season 2015. Final data is expected to be available to clients in 3Q16.
