Statoil awarding contract for offshore supply of provisions

Statoil has awarded Kraemer Maritime AS a contract for supply of provisions to the company’s installations on the Norwegian continental shel.The contract taking effect on 1 January 2017. The estimated contract value is around NOK 230 million per year.

The contract period is four years with an option for three two-year extensions. The supplies include food, cleaning products, kiosk merchandise, disposables and other related products and services.

“This delivery is crucial to our offshore employees. Kraemer Maritime has won the contract in fierce competition with both Norwegian and international suppliers. It will be exciting to cooperate with a new supplier with long maritime trade experience,” says Hilde Halsteinslid, vice president for the catering & administration unit in Statoil.

Headquartered in Tromsø, Kraemer Maritime AS is owned by the Kræmer family (66%) and Asko Norge AS (34%). The company’s core business is maritime trade, which is offered on several locations in Norway: Kirkenes, Hammerfest, Tromsø, Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger, Kristiansund og Ålesund.
