Jonas Höwing, Sandvik Materials Technology, MENA, looks at the challenges of using stainless steel for hydraulic and instrumentation systems in marine environments.

The extension is for the FEL 2/13, which is located on the west flank of the South Porcupine basin offshore Ireland and includes the Kiely prospects and the Doyle Cretaceous channel complex.

Under the partnership, COOEC Offshore and Expro will deliver a new intervention riser system to market in 2020.
