The Geoquip Marine survey vessel MV Investigator completed its survey at the NJOM-3 well site on the Thali block offshore Cameroon on 7 February 2020.

The government of South Africa has approved Africa Oil Corp's acquisition of a 20% participating interest in the Block 3B/4B Exploration Right from Azinam Ltd. by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Africa Oil SA Corp.

The results of the surveys in the Ceiba and Okume fields are due to become available in 4Q20.

The surveys will obtain critical seabed and sub-seabed information to facilitate the planning and emplacement of the Pecan subsea infrastructure and the FPSO ship.

The launch of Armada will initially add fifteen bespoke designed marine robots to Ocean Infinity’s current fleet of autonomous underwater vehicles.

The company has also appointed Chris Forde as its regional vice-president for Asia-Pacific.

The Thailand-based company intends to utilise the subsidiary as a vehicle to expand the provision of its subsea and related services into the UK North Sea.

Following the agreement, Shell will assume the operation of the Fuerte Sur, Purple Angel and COL-5 blocks.
