The Norwegian Minister of Petroleum and Energy, Kjell-Børge Freiberg, has officially opened the power-from-shore solution which will provide the Johan Sverdrup field in the North Sea with electricity for more than 50 years.
The engineering and technology group, which announced its launch in July is rolling out an ambitious and transformative strategy to meet the immediate and long-term strategic value-add needs of their clients.
Aqualis Offshore managed the floatover operation out of its Singapore office.
The dock facility, which will be manned 24 hrs a day, will serve as the base for C-I’s Fourchon operations and features client offices, conference rooms with full streaming connectivity, bunk houses and parking for offshore crews.
