Oilfield Technology,
At the beginning of 2016 a new assortment of marine- and offshore-certified generators will become available as part of the Bredenoord rental fleet for the offshore industry. The machinery has been designed specifically for offshore deployment. It complies with the IMO Tier II emissions regulations, DNV2.7-1 for offshore lifting and is designed to meet the IACS, SOLAS and NORSOK requirements.
Bredenoord, specialist in mobile power solutions, and DBR, independent supplier of offshore generator sets, develop this rental fleet together. DBR builds the machinery and Bredenoord, supported by its many years’ rental experience, provides fast installation by qualified technicians at any location. The new offshore rental generator sets can easily fulfil the high-standard requirements for use in harsh environments and heavy-duty conditions.
Mr. J. Fluit, CEO of Bredenoord: "We are very pleased that we can offer the offshore industry a higher flexibility with our new fleet. The partnership between Bredenoord en DBR makes it possible to quickly meet the needs of our offshore customers 24 hours a day."
Bredenoord will present the new rental fleet during Offshore Energy at stand 11.079. You can find DBR at stand 09.013A.
