ExxonMobil to use Noble Corp drillship for Guyana project

Noble Corp. has announced that ExxonMobil has hired the drillship Noble Sam Croft on a new 6-month contract to drill offshore Guyana, with operations commencing in 4Q20 after the rig finishes its current programme offshore Suriname.

This contract was awarded under the previously-announced Commercial Enabling Agreement (CEA) established with ExxonMobil for Guyana earlier this year. With this award, all four of Noble's high-specification HHI drillships will now be contracted to ExxonMobil in Guyana.

OSSO completes decommissioning project at Scottish oil terminal

The company worked in partnership with another contractor to mitigate the need for 4340 m3 of crude oil sludge to be tankered to incineration, achieve a significant cost saving and recover 1280 m3 of usable oil.
