The Group has been celebrating and showcasing some of its key products this week both at the exhibition and at their base in Inverurie, Aberdeen.

The project will comprise reimaging data from three overlapping seismic surveys totalling 3600 km2 that were acquired between 1999 and 2008.

The Annie gas discovery is the first by an offshore well in the Otway Basin, offshore Victoria, Australia, in 11 years.

The consortium’s workscope consists of engineering, procurement, construction and installation for a total of 28 jackets.

The agreement is non-exclusive and establishes the general legal framework and specific terms in relation to the engineering, procurement, construction and installation work regarding potential future contracts relating to leased FPSOs.

After reaching plateau for the first phase of the Johan Sverdrup development, expected during the summer of 2020, Equinor expects operating costs below US$2 per barrel.

The new and renewed awards have resulted in over 100 additional personnel being employed to support projects in the North Sea and Azerbaijan.

The work will be delivered by Wood’s Aberdeen-based operations and engineering teams, with construction and maintenance operatives working offshore.
