Oilfield Technology,
The drilling programme for well 35/11-22 S relates to the drilling of wildcat wells in production licence 248 C. Equinor Energy AS is the operator with an ownership interest of 30%. The other licensees are Petoro (40%) and Wellesley Petroleum AS (30%).
The area in this licence consists of the southwestern part of block 35/11. The well will be drilled about 9 km west of the Fram field and about 100 km west-northwest of Mongstad.
Production licence 248 C was carved out from production licence 248 on 9 April 2013. This is the second well to be drilled in the licence.
The permit is contingent on the operator securing all other permits and consents required by other authorities prior to commencing the drilling activity.
