The agreement is a significant step forward in advancing exploration in the Lower Congo Basin.

Wintershall Dea and its partners Petoro and Sval Energi have successfully installed an additional subsea template on the seabed at Haltenbanken on the west coast of Norway.

The contract values are calculated at around US$369 million for both firm periods.
