Calao-1X is the second well to be drilled from the Indico pad to determine the prospectivity of the Lower Sands formation around the Indico discovery.

The agreement covers CGX's two shallow water offshore Petroleum Prospecting Licenses in Guyana, the Corentyne and Demerara Blocks.

Royal Dutch Shell plc, through its subsidiary Shell Brasil Petróleo Ltda. has announced with consortium partners the start of production at the Lula North deep-water project in the Brazilian Santos Basin.

The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) has granted consent for continuation of production on Norne FPSO with associated facilities for the Norne, Urd and Skuld fields in the Norwegian Sea.
