InterMoor recently transported and installed a new electric submersible pump (ESP) system as part of the MaMPU-1 floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) facility upgrade for a wellhead platform project in Malaysia.
The co-created roadmap will enable the conversion of prior agreed concessions into production sharing agreements under the provisions of the country's Petroleum Law.
The company has been awarded contracts by ConocoPhillips Australia Barossa and Murphy Exploration and Production for work at the Barossa project and at the Samurai, Khaleesi, and Mormont developments respectively.
The contract has an estimated duration of 21 days and is expected to commence in March 2020, in direct continuation of the rig’s current contract.
An Ampelmann E-type system was mobilised on the Normand Installer vessel, to allow personnel to easily access the Liza Destiny FPSO.
