Transocean announces US$531 million ultra-deepwater drillship contract

Transocean has announced a 1095-day contract for the Deepwater Invictus with bp in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.
The programme is expected to commence in the 1Q25 and is estimated to contribute approximately US$531 million in backlog, excluding additional services and a mobilisation fee.
