CGG, a global technology and HPC leader, has announced a major multi-year global data transformation and curation agreement with bp, that will play a key role in supporting bp’s subsurface digital strategy.
The expected recoverable gross reserves from the field are estimated at 90 million boe, of which the majority will be oil, an amount which will help support Europe’s energy supply.
The industrial services provider will be responsible for all routine maintenance services and fabrication across Shell’s Deepwater GOM fleet for a minimum of three years, with the option to extend for a further two years.
