Falck enhances offering with hazardous area training

Falck Safety Services, a North-east safety firm has formed a strategic alliance with EPIT, a hazardous and industrial areas training specialist, following demand for highly specialised training in the North-east.

Falck, which has 36 training centres across the world, can now offer EPIT’s hazardous area explosion protection training to the oil and gas and related industries.

EPIT is an approved certified CompEx centre that offers the nationally recognised courses to electrical and instrumentation technicians. In addition, EPIT’s Competency Plus Programme includes a range of Ex, ATEX, Mechanical, High Voltage/Low Voltage and Electrical Safety courses, all of which are accredited by City and Guilds.

Falck’s delegates will undertake the specialised training at EPIT’s custom-built facility in Blackburn, Aberdeen, equipping them with the technical expertise to handle hazardous area equipment on and offshore.
