Algerian Statoil facility attacked

This morning, at approximately 06:00 local time, the Salah Gas asset in Krechba was hit by explosive munitions fired from a distance.
Statoil has been in contact with its three employees at Krechba, all of whom are uninjured and in a safe location.
Statoil is working on getting an overview of the situation, but has so far no information about anybody being injured during the attack.
Statoil and its joint venture organisation in Hassi Messaoud have mobilised their emergency response organisations.
As of yet there is no further detail about the emergency situation.
