CIS Group recognised for occupational health and safety

Conductor Installation Services Ltd (CIS) has received a gold medal from the UK’s Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for occupational health and safety for the second time consecutively.

Recognising CIS’s effective commitment to safety

CIS has completed its 10th consecutive year of operation without an accident or a lost time incident (LTI). The RoSPA has recognised this effective commitment to safety by awarding CIS its second gold medal. Concurrently, CIS also celebrates its 10th anniversary.

RoSPA Trustee, Michael D Parker CBE, presented the award to Andy Penman, Group Managing Director of CIS, at the RoSPA occupational health and safety awards ceremony, at ExCeL in London.

The RoSPA award considers accident records and overall health and safety management systems. It recognising the practices, such as strong leadership and workforce involvement, of all entrants.

CIS is a member of Acteon’s Conductors, Risers and Flowlines group, providing conductor and pile installation services associated with construction projects carried out in the global oil and gas industry. It conducts its services both onshore and offshore.

Nothing is more important than safety

Andy Penman, Group Managing Director of the CIS Group, commented: “Nothing is more important than safety at CIS, and every person in the company has the responsibility to ensure that the workplace is safe, and to perform his or her job safely, each and every time.”
