Global Maritime appoints Norway Regional Manager

Global Maritime Consultancy & Engineering has appointed Mikal Grure Eie as Regional Manager for Norway. Mikal’s brief will to develop closer customer relationships and drive new business development opportunities throughout Norway - a key market for Global Maritime.
Mikal’s previous roles include support with the construction of the Hywind floating wind farm and other wind power projects as well as on oil and gas fields, such as Visund, Oseberg, and Gullfaks.
Prior to joining Global Maritime in January 2013, Mikal was Business Development Manager at DNV GL, the world's leading classification society. At Global Maritime, his positions have included Business Development Leader and Head of Strategy & Commercial.
David Sutton, CEO of Global Maritime Consultancy & Engineering, commented: “With experience in renewables, oil & gas and the maritime sector in general as well as in high-level business strategy, Mikal brings the perfect blend of skills to his important new role.
