Polarcus announces new global contracts
Polarcus has announced recent contract wins for seismic acquisition projects in Australia, US Gulf of Mexico and West Africa.
Australia
Polarcus has received contract awards from two undisclosed clients for two 3D marine seismic acquisition projects offshore Australia. The combined program, subject to the execution of service contracts, will commence in Q4 2014 and is expected to run for approximately 50 days.
Gulf of Mexico
The company has signed a Letter of Award (LOA) with TGS for the charter of a Polarcus A-Class 3D seismic vessel offshore US Gulf of Mexico. The charter, of approximately 6 months duration and subject to the execution of a service contract, will commence imminently.
West Africa
Finally, Polarcus has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with an undisclosed client for a 3D marine seismic acquisition project offshore West Africa. The project, subject to the execution of a service contract, will commence in Q4 2014 and is expected to run for approximately 3.5 months.
