Shearwater contracted for 3D seismic exploration project in South Africa

The survey, for an unnamed client, will acquire over 6000 km2 of 3D seismic data and be acquired by the Amazon Warrior. The project is planned to last approximately 4 months.
The Amazon class vessels are seismic acquisition vessels designed from the ground up with the customer in mind. The vessels provide a stable platform for seismic acquisition in challenging seas and are ideally suited to conditions offshore South Africa.
