“We are delighted by this recent award from Shell and look forward to a successful project. This order is yet another entry on TC2’s impressive, fast-growing resume. Operators around the world continue to choose the best-in-class TC2 over other connectors for gas lift, chemical injection, and service line applications throughout their subsea developments,” said Antony Matson, Vice-President of Projects.
The TC2 Connection System based on three main principles: robustness, reliability, and simplicity. The inboard hub and outboard connector are compact and easy to package on even the most crowded structures and ROV panels. TC2 features Trendsetter’s proprietary Metal-To-Metal TEX-2 gasket enabling back seal test and subsea seal change, both features which are unmatched in other connectors of this size.
