Gulf opens office in Beijing to support Chinese expansion

Gulf has opened a new office in Beijing, China, as the company’s expansion in China continues.

The company recently launched a new office in the commercial hub of Shanghai, however has strengthened its expansion with the addition of a Beijing facility. The Shanghai office was Gulf’s first outside of Yantai, where Gulf’s blending plant and administrative hub has been based for a number of years.

The aim is to better service Gulf’s growing distributor network in China and to help implement new sales, marketing and product strategies.

Gulf recently hosted a national launch event in Shanghai, which included the world debut of Gulf’s new packaging, several months ahead of its appearance in the rest of the world.

Commenting on the launch, Arthur Liu, general manager of Gulf Oil in China, said: "This event and the successful new pack launch is just the start for Gulf in its plan for significant growth in the Chinese market. We will consistently look to provide new products and service solutions in the field of automobile repair and maintenance in the future, complementing industry trends in the Chinese market, with an increasing investment in innovative product research and development.”
