EPI Group launches new gas detection services
EPI Group has launched the first new completely mobile pollutant detection service, monitoring air quality before, during and post exploration period.
EPI, which provides a fully bespoke seismic consultancy service to the energy industry can now offer the first full-service mobile substance detection at parts per billion of over 90 species.
Multi-gas system
The EPI Health Safety and Security division is now able to offer a new multi-gas system with real time, highly flexible, cost effective, fully portable, mobile and fixed sensor analysis. Using closed path spectroscopy the sensors are capable of detecting multiple pollutants simultaneously at parts per billion level. This is aimed at both personnel work spaces and plant environments at any oil and gas facility to detect any dangerous compounds before they can reach harmful levels.
The new service specialises in substance detection at parts per billion level of over 90 species, 24/7, with full audit trail, delivered in a user-friendly real time basis via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or built in GSM signal.
Comments
Henry Faulkner, EPI HSSE Operations Manager, commented: “Our unique mobile pollutant detection service enables our consultants to undertake site surveys to determine optimum static placement of detection devices, or mobile surveillance and recording to provide full perimeter detection.”
