Oilfield Technology,

Secretary Moniz has emphasised that the US President’s budget request for the Energy Department continues the commitment to a low carbon future, improved energy infrastructure resilience, US science and technology leadership and stronger national security. The request represents a 2.6% increase above FY 2014 enacted levels and reflects the reorganisation of the Energy Department into three Under Secretariats, mirroring the Department’s focus areas.

  • Quadrennial Energy Review.
  • US$ 2 billion to be allocated over the next 10 years from existing federal oil and gas development revenue for the Energy Security Trust.
