PETEX 2014 on track to exceed expectations

Oilfield Technology,

The PESGB and PETEX 2014 Organising Committee has announced that with four months to go until the event, PETEX 2014 is exceeding all expectations. The move to a larger venue has been key in including more exhibition floor space as well as many opportunities for networking in the purpose-built arena at Excel.

The committee had its largest ever response to a call for papers, with hundreds of high quality presentations being received. The timetable has almost been finalised and will be released soon. The keynotes will also be announced at time of launch.

The Plenary Session has been replaced this year by the PETEX forum, an arena to discuss the technical issues around whether hydraulic fracturing is technically viable in the UK or not. This session will be interactive, and questions can be submitted in advance.

Early bird registration closes on 31 August. For more information, please visit www.petex.info.
