ESS shores up second contract with Dolphin Drilling worth £10.5m

ESS Support Services Worldwide, part of Compass Group, has won a new, three year contract, worth £10.5 million, to provide hotel and catering services to Dolphin Drilling Ltd.
Aberdeen-based ESS has worked with Dolphin Drilling since 2007, delivering food and housekeeping services on board the Belford Dolphin. This second contract, which commenced on 1 June 2014, will see the ESS team provide catering and hotel services to 180 people across seven levels of accommodation on board Dolphin Drilling’s new deepwater drillship, the Bolette Dolphin.
Ronnie Kelman, Business Director for ESS Offshore, said; “Due to our excellent performance onboard the Belford Dolphin and our long standing relationship with Dolphin Drilling, we are delighted that we have been awarded a contract providing catering and hotel services onboard the Bolette Dolphin.
