ABUTEC hires VP of sales for upstream oil and gas sector
ABUTEC, the manufacturer of emission control products, has hired Joe Parrilli as Vice President of Sales for Upstream Oil and Gas.
Parrilli joins the ABUTEC team after years of experience in the global technology industry, and has a successful track record of managing sales and developing businesses in the telecommunications, marketing and alternative energy industries. He is a proven expert at opportunity identification, account development and sales execution.
Recently, Parrilli has served as Director of Sales and Business Development for Energy Transitions, Director of Major Accounts for Telco Systems, Senior Account Director for Alcatel-Lucent, Sales Director of Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc., and has held a number of other leadership positions in the global technology industry.
CEO of ABUTEC, Andy Smith, commented: “Joe’s technical background will help ABUTEC’s clients navigate the ever changing information and data collection requirements for oil and gas clients. As VP of Upstream Oil and Gas, Parrilli will oversee the process of selling ABUTEC products to clients across the United States and around the world. “The vision and commitment of ABUTEC’s executive team to stay ahead of regulatory requirements through superior design and manufacturing processes convinced me to make ABUTEC my home,” Parrilli explained.
He continued: “My role is to ensure the ABUTEC Sales team has the tools, training and direction needed to meet customer demand and satisfy customer requirements. If and when challenges arise that require escalation, I will be at the forefront to ensure our customers receive the best solutions to solve their problems.”
