Solid Energy interested in Pike River Coal assets

New Zealand miner, Solid Energy, will seek to acquire the assets of Pike River Coal, according to a company statement, but acknowledges that there are considerable challenges to bringing the mine back into production.

 

Nexans wins contract for Ormen Lange North Field project

Nexans has been awarded a 4.8 million euro contract by Norske Shell to supply the 6.5 km infield umbilical for the Ormen Lange North Field project. The Ormen Lange natural gas field on the Norwegian Continental Shelf started production in 2007.

Sinopec signs massive purchase agreement for Australian LNG
