The well was drilled by the ‘Deepsea Stavanger’ drilling rig, about 25 km southwest of the Oseberg field in the North Sea and 150 km west of Bergen.
The concession is located approximately 200 km from Rio de Janeiro, in water depths up to 2900 m. It contains natural gas and oil/condensate recoverable volumes of above 1 billion boe/d.
