Statoil receives consent to use Songa Encourage for well activities

Statoil is the operator of the Norne field in the Norwegian Sea, west of Mo i Rana in Nordland county. The field has been developed using a floating production and storage unit, tied to the well templates on the seabed. Water depth at the Norne field is 380 m.

BP to sell 25% of Magnus oilfield to Enquest

EnQuest PLC has announced an agreement to acquire from BP an initial 25% interest in the Magnus oil field representing c.15.9 million boe of additional net 2P reserves (gross reserves of 63.4 million boe) with net production of 4.2 Mboe/d.
