Wood wins new contract delivering mega-project for Saudi Aramco

The contract is part of Saudi Aramco’s multi-billion dollar Marjan Crude Increment Program; one of the company’s oil and gas mega-projects designed to enhance its energy sustainability, diversify the economy, expand gas production, and localise domestic content.

 

Carnarvon Petroleum awarded new permit on Western Australia’s North West Shelf

Carnarvon aims to mature the identified leads to prospects within the block, with a number of geoscience work-flows as part of the work programme, including a satellite seep survey, petrophysical reviews, burial modelling, fault seal analysis, rock physics analysis and seismic inversion of the Cygnus MC3D.

 
 
 

Savannah Petroleum provides update on Seven Energy production

Production levels at the Seven Assets in February have continued to strongly increase, with month to date average production being 25.7 kboepd gross and 20.7 kboepd net, largely driven by increased sales to the Calabar NIPP which are supported by a World Bank Partial Risk Guarantee.

 
 

ExxonMobil adds 2.7 billion barrels to reserves

Exxon Mobil Corporation has announced it has added 2.7 billion boe of proved oil and gas reserves in 2017, replacing 183% of production. ExxonMobil's proved reserves totaled 21.2 billion boe at year-end 2017. Liquids represented 57% of the reserves, up from 53% in 2016. ExxonMobil’s reserves life at current production rates is 14 years.

 

Ocean Installer awarded decommissioning job in Mauritania

The project will be executed on a fast track, with offshore operations commencing as soon as March/April of 2018. The scope of the project includes disconnection, laydown and wet storage of flexible risers, umbilical and mooring lines from the FPSO.
