The company’s subsidiary, Kub-Gas, utilised its own workover rig and crew to recomplete a productive gas sand interval.
The company has completed the drilling of wildcat well 7324/3-1.
The field is located approximately 225 miles (360 km) south of New Orleans, La., in a water depth of approximately 5200 ft (1584 m).
The company announced that it has completed the drilling phase of the A11 #2 well in its Orogrande Basin drilling programme with operator Maverick Operating and drilling partner Wolfbone Properties.
The new contracts have lifted the company’s orderbook to RM18 billion and total contract wins to-date for this financial year to RM7 billion.
The Brasse East well is being drilled immediately east of the Brasse field, discovered by Faroe in 2016 and appraised in 2017.
The company has entered into the agreement with Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilisers Pty Ltd for the supply of pipeline gas for a term of 20 years.
The expected availability of the rig is now February 2020.
