Aker BP recently delivered the first end of well report generated from AGR’s iQx system. This was done on the exploration wells Hyrokkin and Delta/Nordfjellet drilled with Maersk Interceptor.
With iQx End of Well Reporting, data in the iQx application is used to auto-populate the end of well report, thereby saving time and ensuring that the data in internal systems is correct.
Most of the data in the report is transferred directly from Aker BP’s Daily Drilling Reporting system, while experiences, section summaries and scanned PDFs are added directly into iQx in an intuitive way. As the application is a web-based collaboration platform, one can easily assign responsibilities for chapters to both offshore team and/or service companies, and with its work process standardise reports across project teams.
Aker BP is using this method of end of well reporting for the remaining Ivar Aasen wells.
Aker BP’s Drilling Engineer says the following regarding the iQx End of Well Report:
“AGR’s iQx application is a good tool and a step in the right direction for automatic generation of end of well reports. It allows for more efficient reporting and easy QC of reported data throughout the operation. The AGR development team delivers good support and is always eager to bring their application further!”
Petter Mathisen, vice president of AGR Software, said: “We are delighted to aid Aker BP and to deliver high quality software products to help in their efforts to standardise work processes.”
