Songa Enabler commencement of drilling contract

Songa Enabler has commenced drilling operations on 29 July 2016 in the Barents Sea. The rig is now on operating rate under its eight-year drilling contract with Statoil on the Norwegian continental shelf. Songa Enabler is the last rig in a series of four Category D semi-submersible drilling rigs, specifically built for and contracted to Statoil.
