The collective depth of these wells is the equivalent of 25 times around the equator – or 2.5 times the distance to the moon.

The transaction is expected to close in 2H19, subject to regulatory approvals.

The agreement with INA has been extended for a further six months to 1 November 2019.

The company is currently working on a revised Plan for Development and Operations, following scheduled feedback from Ghanaian authorities.

The public inquiry will commence on 5 November 2019 with the hearing expected to last up to six days.
