Delmar reports incident free operations in 2013
Worldwide supplier of offshore mooring-related services Delmar has reported achieving over 1,000,000 man hours with no recordable or lost time incidents in 2013 – zero TRIR (total recordable incident rate). This is very rare in the offshore industry.
“This is truly a milestone for us at Delmar and sets the bar for future HS&E expectations. Our commitment to safety and to our HS&E Management Systems has helped us take our safety programs and culture to the next level, ” said Marcus Henry, Delmar’s HS&E Manager. “Our employees are our most valuable resource, and our safety programs are structured to ensure that each employee is actively engaged with this safety mindset to assure a safe working environment for everyone.
“Delmar is committed to continuing to provide a safe work environment and establishing safe practices at all times. Offshore anchor handling is a challenging career, working day and night in various weather, climate, and sea state conditions. This incident free achievement is a tribute to Delmar’s offshore and operational personnel that strive to be the best professionals in the industry.”
