Delta Controls moves headquarters to Farnham
Delta Controls has moved its international headquarters, UK manufacturing operation and research and development centre to Farnham, Surrey.
Instrumentation design
The company designs and manufactures instrumentation for the process and power industries, and had been working from facilities in West Molesey for 50 years, producing almost 2 million instruments in that time.
The company's key engineers and production staff have relocated to the new premises, so customers will benefit from a seamless transfer of their business.
The move provided an opportunity for the UK manufacturer to upgrade its facilities, which include a new flow measuring rig, oxygen service clean room, welding bay with rotary TIG welder, and upgraded calibration facilities. Together with the improved development and test facilities this will allow better support for its national and international customers.
Comments
Commenting on the move, Sales Director Chris Webborn, said: "In truth, our factory in West Molesey was getting old and looking a bit tired. The new premises will enable us to maintain our quality while increasing efficiency, as well as providing a better environment for our staff.
"We have made a significant investment in the new premises that will help us support our customers in the nuclear new build programmes in the UK and elsewhere, which will benefit all our global customers."
