Magma Products wins contracts worth £750,000
Magma Products has targeted further growth for its Bucharest office, following contract wins worth £750,000 in the region.
Romanian office
The Romanian operation complements existing Magma Products offices in Aberdeen, Great Yarmouth and Houston.
Six jobs have been created at the Bucharest operation following the project wins in Romania, with an additional six people to be recruited in Q1 2015 as the company looks to secure further contracts in the region. The contracts are for a series of onshore and offshore projects including pre-commissioning, commissioning and upgrade scopes of work.
Comments
Paul Rushton, CEO at Magma, said: "The Bucharest office puts us in an extremely strong position to secure new project work in the country and the region as a whole. We have made a strong start in the market because of the knowledge and experience we bring to projects.
"This represents a significant strategic step for us. Our Houston office is gearing up for projects in the Gulf of Mexico, while our Great Yarmouth operation is performing exceptionally well, in particular in the decommissioning and equipment hire arenas.
"Our expertise has always been well respected and now we’re expanding our geographical reach to add value to projects worldwide."
