SPP Pumps extends its presence to Holland

Manufacturer of centrifugal pumps and systems, SPP Pumps has has created a new role, European Sales Manager for its specialist Dewatering Division, and Mark Verweij has been appointed for the position.
The SPP Pumps Dewatering division offers durable solutions in its range of vacuum-assisted dry self-priming pumps, designed for rental organisations, contractors, utility companies, open cast mines and municipalities.
Verweij brings extensive experience
Based near Rotterdam, Verweij brings considerable pump industry and application experience to aid sales across Europe and support distributors.
“I believe SPP Pumps as a company, with its knowledge of the market in both pumps and engineering, is capable of making a significant impact in Holland,” Mark Verweij commented.
A strategical appointment
The move also allows SPP Pumas to establish a sales presence in Holland. Duncan Jackson, Head of SPP Pumps Dewatering Division, explains the company strategy behind the new appointment: “Holland has a lot of land that is below sea level so there is a market here that we want to focus on. Mark is an ideal fit to lead our sales strategy in Holland as he has great experience in the area.”
