Vietsovpetro welcomes first oil flow from Kinh Ngu Trang field - Kinh Ngu Trang Nam

Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son attended the ceremony to attach the project's signboard and welcome the first oil flow from Kinh Ngu Trang - Kinh Ngu Trang Nam (KNT-KNTN) field, Block 09-2/09.

Putting the mine into commercial exploitation on schedule contributes to maintaining and increasing production output, consolidating Vietsovpetro's core role in the value chain of oil and gas exploration and exploitation in Vietnam, contributing to the goal of ensuring national energy security and affirming sovereignty at sea through strategic oil and gas cooperation in the Cuu Long and Nam Con Son basins.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son emphasised that the event of receiving the first oil flow from the KNT-KNTN field, along with the naming ceremony of the PV Drilling 8 jack-up rig, are new steps forward, new achievements of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam), Vietsovpetro, member companies and partners.
