Oilfield Technology,
In response to a growing demand from the oil and gas and industrials sectors, testing, calibration and advisory services provider, Exova Group plc will extend its global reach by opening a new laboratory in Johor, Malaysia.
New Exova laboratory in Malaysia
The new laboratory will work closely with the company’s existing laboratory in Singapore in order to offer customers a range of specialist metallurgical testing capabilities. Moreover, the Malaysian location is convenient since it is close to oil and gas, and infrastructure projects.
The both facilities will offer complementary testing services, producing efficiencies and reducing turnaround times for customers. Therefore, this move will support the expansion of Exova’s services across the Asia Pacific region. The company’s customers in the Asia Pacific region will also have access to international testing standards.
A laboratory close to its customers’ projects
Hicham Abdallah, Managing Director for Exova in Middle East, Asia and Asia Pacific said: “As we continue to grow our customer base in Malaysia, we recognised the need to create a laboratory close to their projects that can provide testing to the required international standards. This facility, when combined with our existing operation in Singapore, extends both capacity and capability giving our customers a greater choice of technically demanding services in the region.”
