Petrofac wins US$ 783 million North Sea contract

Petrofac has announced that it has been awarded a contract with a total possible value of approximately US$ 783 million by Apache for construction services in the North Sea. The contract is to initially last three years at an annual rate of roughly US$ 157 million, with the possibility of an extension for a further two years.

Petrofac is to supply onshore engineering and onshore and offshore construction to all North Sea Assets owned by Apache. This new contract is an extension of the company’s existing contract with Apache which covers offshore assets in the Forties field.

According to a statement released by Petrofac, included in the scope of the contract is “topside brownfield and greenfield activity in addition to interfacing with subsea contractors.”
